Since I keep getting bombarded with suggestions for doing tutorial videos, and requests for Male hands and feet cheats, I've been mulling it over in my mind.
In fact, I think I might even create some Wing Cheats.

I'm Announcing my Open call for suggestions and requests RIGHT NOW!!!!
Here's my ideas so far:* I want to make videos to help people with understanding simple and easy ways and techniques to draw Wings, Hands, and Feet.
* I want these tutorials to be VISUAL BASED, and so simple and easy, that ANYONE CAN DO IT.
The reason is because, naturally, ARTISTS are Visual Persons, plus, most people have the Hurry-sickness affliction brought on by modern day speed of technology, internet, computers, advertising, commercials, and so on. People have been dumbed down only to accept pre-digestible things visually and auditory by default in the culture of modern day. NO one seems to have time to sit through reading books, or old style cultural things, so I must do it for you.
* I would also like to create step by step instructional sheets, which are printable, AND FREE, in a Comic book format... also, to learn the information VISUALLY, with less lengthy reading.

I will be discussing the ideas all over the internet, with my friends, associates, and I also plan on asking for suggestions from the members of the "Gryphon Guild" in their forum.

When I plan to create the instructional videos (and/or JPEG graphics for downloading) if you would like to contribute your own graphics to my project, with a question about what you want help with, please submit it, with your permitting to use it.

I plan on scripting my videos as well, and keep them as nice as I possibly can, with the equipment I currently have.

I will also be adding my full detailed information (edited and Proof-read) in case you actually do care to know all the little details about my methods, ideas, credentials and so on.

Any comments and suggestions you do actually type in shall become my property to use, so if you don't want your comments used, send it privately to me and stating you don't want the comments used, Because I will also be using negative comments as well as constructive and positive comments.

I've no real time frame for completing any of this. 'm still going through the ideas and concepts, as well as many other things.

If you have any tutorials you would like to suggest, I welcome the suggestions, and might also highlight a few, if not several, for those whom seriously enjoy learning and serious study (like I do).

A Little Back History:As you can tell, by now, in the year 2009, I'm still pretty much an underground artist. Even tho' much of my artwork is still stolen and published throughout the world all over the internet, I'm still pretty unknown.
But, around 2003-2006, I was kinda more known in various groups and communities, especially among the Furry Fan Communities.... but, when I stopped doing exclusively ONLY Furries/Anthro's and also had a kid (plus a business) and couldn't afford to attend the conventions (like Anthrocon) anymore, either most people felt slighted, or took offense to my pursuing other arts again (specifically human figures). I took up studying coloring, and even interned for Colorist work at "Top Cow" of "Image Comics" in LA, and got BIG TIME into the new fängled glitter of You Tube, which back then was underground, and now is main stream.
However, I'm still alive here, and I'm going to create more FREE stuff for you guys!
I guess it all started somewhere back in college.
I very much liked Gryphons and wings, and since I was studying animation, I was very interested in drawing things in dynamic poses: hands, arms, and wings, and things with wings.
So, I sketched some drawings of gryphons in my sketchbook. It took me about a weekend or so to mentally visualize it and have that mental visualization translated to the paper as a sketch.
What came out of that were the sketches that created this:

(the year 2000)
I created THIS specific sketch by using my light box on punched animation paper, inked, and colored it by hand, and published it for biffing on the Fur Bid FREE AUCTION Website.
I got the suggestion from my roommate:

( This means my friend, Hope.)
She suggested it OVER AND OVER, and showed me the website.
So, I posted my auction, and went off to Oklahoma for a week or so, and while I was there, I surprised that I got bid on. I was surprised that I got as much money I actually got for it, also, something like $40, which to me was allot at the time, since I was sooooo poor.
I kept creating things to sell on the website, and noticed that items with my styles of wings would sell better.
Around the time of my graduation from AIPH

were gonna go into joint dealership at the Anthrocon, however, she went through a series of emotional and mental pressures, freaked out literally, and it never happened that year. ( Don't worry, she & I are cool now.

)
However, a black & white inked version of 1 of my gryphon was published in the official book for the Anthrocon convention called "The Con Book".
I also created the Inked and digitally colored Photoshop versions of these 2 gryphons:
Since I couldn't sell my stuff that year at Anthrocon 2001, being that my friend disappeared, didn't answer my E-mails or calls, and didn't drive down to Delaware to get me, which I thought was strange since it was her idea, I tried selling stuff on Fur bid again. And, i sold quite afew of them.
So, by 2002, i was married, and became a registered dealer myself at the Anthrocon 2002 in Philly. I made several large Poster sized versions of the griffins, and these 2 griffins were my best sellers along with the Purple Monochromatic "Black Unicorn Poem":

(which has shared similar success in having been stolen and illegally used on the internet without authorization throughout the world)
BTW:

& I made up that year, in the lobby of the Anthrocon! I screamed! she screamed, like teenaged girls at a Beatles Concert! LOL! :rotfl: The we hugged & hung out!

We also did sketchbook tades. She sketched for me in my book, and vise versa.
By 2003 I had been playing around alot in the Gryphon Guild (because I LOVE Griffins)and I kept getting the same questions and comments about how I drew wings.
To me, I thought it was rather simple, since i figured it out myself, and kept churning it out like it was nothing. That's stupid me! (No, Kandice! Not everyone thinks the same way that you do! Duh!)
Since it seemed like a simple concept, that since I could figure out, why not anyone else? Yet, when I searched for tutorials on anything to do with wings, I couldn't find ANYTHING out there like what I was doing.
So, I wrote my explanation of my way of thinking and approach to my style of exaggerated wings, and exaggerated dynamic poses.
I published my "thesis" here:
[link]
on my website.
Then, published this with a link to the site:

(I created this on Deviant Art to help people easily find the link)
You can tell by the hits that people are mostly just looking at the pictures, and the stuff that merely jumps out at you, since it's lengthy, and most people are lazy to actually read.
However, I got more thank you letters and on that thesis than anything else I was writing at that time for years. Even to this day, artists whom have read through it and understood the basic concepts tell me the recommend the link to other artists still.
Now, wings are a bit more complex than hands and feet. But, my basis for the wings was based on human arms and hands.
Since the thesis was more of a lengthy read, and I noticed that many people would skip parts of it, plus I was noticing that great artists would still complain about drawing hands, I wondered how could they draw wings if they still had trouble with HANDS?
So, I developed cheat sheets, what I called "hand cheats" or "the cheater's way of drawing hands". (Mainly all Female hands)
The graphics themselves were visual based with minimal texts, and I created a whole series of them; each 1 more advanced than the previous one.
After that, I was bogged with requests for FEET Cheat sheets. So, I created those also.
You can find all of those tutorial type cheat sheets in my gallery if you haven;t seen them already. (
I'm sure you have, since those f***ers are my most popular and favorited published works on this site over all of my other artwork. In fact, most days are just favorite after favorite of just those, and maybe someone will favorite a unicorn or a griffin... maybe a dragon... that's about it... or fan art... then more tutorials...)

The point is, here, that back at the turn of this century/millennium when I was online back then, I never saw any of this dynamic wings stuff... but, everyone know it and emulates it now. Yet, somehow, everyone forgot me, and I'm still underground, and still unknown.
But, whatever.... At least I did stuff with the time I had in my life, and this will all be left behind after me.
I don't need to be worshiped to be satisfied with my own work, and feel good about the job I did. I still get the thank-yous from people, and people still add the tutorials to their favorites nearly everyday... or usually every day.

This isn't some Ego trip.
(I'm quite sure I could make this into an entertaining Ego-trip looking thing if that's what you wanted... Like Stephen Colbert... but, he's actually famous... unlike me.

)
So, I will be developing my ideas for a video tutorials, and possibly comic books style visuals with panels and pictures.
I'm sure some of the bullies out their will start to rear their heads soon. i got attacked for telling the truth about myself last year online. So, I'm sure it'll eventually happen at some point around here, again....
BTW: I'd like to mention that EVERYTHING WILL BE FREE!!!!!!!!! Videos, graphic downloads, and so on. I might even publish a torrent of it also, that you college kids can easily get!
